Watch the Birdie is a 5-reel, 15 payline slot which also features both a scatter and wild icon.

All the winning combinations in the Watch the Birdie slots game pay out from left to right (with the exception of the scatters). They must line up next to one another, and at least one of the winning symbols must be on the first reel of the game.

Scatter pays, however, do not need to be in order. For that matter, they don’t even need to be on an enabled payline. The winning amount on a scatter is figured by multiplying the amount wagered by the scatter and symbol combo payout.

The amount won depends on the number of coins bet per payline, the coin size bet and number of credits wagered. The winning amount is determined by the number of coins won multiplied by the number of credits which were bet per payline.

The wild symbol is the Bird Egg icon. It substitutes for any symbol in the Watch the Birdie game other than the scatter icon. This is a really neat symbol, as it will hatch and grow to fill the entire reel. This allows the entire payline to benefit from the wild symbol. It’s even possible to hit more than one wild symbol at a time and further increase your winnings. This symbol must appear on an enabled payline, and it’s only available on reels 2, 3 and 4.

The scatter icon is the Bonus Birdwatcher symbol. Get 3 or more of these on any of the 5 reels and you’ll activate the Find the Birds Bonus Round. To be valid, these scatter symbols do not need to be on an active payline, and you can find them on all reels.

In this bonus round, you’ll be asked to choose from a group of eggs. Your goal is to pick the egg which contains the bird shown at the top of the screen. Tap an egg and it will hatch. If you get a match then you will win.

There’s also a Bonus Bird of Happiness which might appear. If it does, it will fly across the screen and lay eggs to replace all those which have been cracked open. In this case, you’ll get to start all over and still keep your previous winnings. You can even find the Bonus Bird of Happiness more than once.
