The Puffer Fish icon serves as the wild symbol, and it must appear on an activated payline to be considered valid. It will substitute for any other symbol (except for the scatter symbols). Any payline with a puffer fish icon will pay out at twice its normal value.

While this symbol appears on all reels, also keep in mind that only the highest winning combination will be paid out for each enabled payline. If more than one winning combo appears on a payline, the player will only be paid for the highest value.

The scatter symbols take the form of the Bonus Clamshell and Compass icons. To activate these, you must get at least 3 of them on the 5 reels. The paylines where they appear do not need to be activated. Luckily for players, the scatter icons appear on all reels. Also, you’ll get paid twice if you hit both a scatter win and regular win.

Getting 3 or more Bonus Clamshells will activate the Pearls Bonus Round. In this round, you must choose the pearls which contain the most coins. Depending on how many coins were on the line which triggered the bonus round, you will be able to select from 3 to 5 pearls. The more coins you uncover, the more coins you will be awarded.

If you get 3 Compass icons on any of the 5 reels, then you’ll activate the 10 Free Spins Round. These spins will be worth the same value per spin as the original spin which originally activated the bonus game. After you have completed your free spins, you will be returned to the normal game.

All winning combinations (with the exceptions of scatters) pay out from left to right. This means that at least one winning symbol must be present on the first reel of Ocean Treasure.
