There are no wild symbols in the Metal Detectors slots, but you can trigger a free spin feature if you get 3 or more Treasure Map icons. When this occurs, a treasure map will appear on the screen. You get to choose the spot where you’ll dig by clicking on the “X.” Once you dig, this will determine how many free spins you’ll receive and what the multiplier will be.

If the treasure hunter icon appears at least 3 times on the reels (it doesn’t matter if the paylines are activated), then you’ll activate the Dig Bonus Round. In this round, you’ll get to move a metal detector around the screen until it signals that something is below the surface. You can dig in this spot or keep looking. Either way, whatever you dig up will be added to your winnings on that spin.
