It has been one busy end of the year for Rival Gaming—a new iSlot and a makeover for one of their staples. But Rival is showing that they are nowhere near done.
Also released this month were two new 3D online slots games from Rival. This morning we will take a look at one of them, Crazy Jewelry with its exceptional graphics that really do impart a three dimensional feeling to the game—as best as possible considering that you can play without 3D glasses.
Crazy Jeweler is a five reel slots games, as most are five reels nowadays, that offers players twenty paylines to play on. With a coin range of $0.01 up to $5, this can make a spin cost as low at $0.20 a go or as much as $100 per spin. And that is only wagering one coin per line. If you go with the maximum number of five coins per payline that can make a spin cost $1 up to $500.
The Wild in this online slots game is not as easy to land as in other online slots games, which is a bit of a disappointment when you consider that players look forward to the little boosts to their bankrolls that Wilds can give, especially when they are Expanding Wilds.
Crazy Jeweler’s Wild is the Security Camera and it only appears on reel three, when it does appear. Thankfully to help counter the limited appearances, it is an Expanding Wild to help players increase the number of wins made when it does show.
But the real treasure of this 3D slots game is its bonus game, which is triggered by landing three of the Crazy Jeweler on an active payline.
Players are then whisked behind the store’s curtain to the Jeweler’s shop in back to help him put together a new piece of jewelry. The player’s job is to pick out real stones from the tray of gems as opposed to choosing a fake stone.
The bonus game continues until either the player chooses three fake stones or until four real stones of the same kind (i.e. three rubies) are chosen. For every real stone chosen, the player is awarded 10x the amount on the payline that triggered the bonus game.
Like with most value based bonus games, there are more fake diamonds in the tray than fake rubies. So be careful if you are going for four real diamonds.
All in all, I was quite pleased with this 3D online slots game. The bonus game was very entertaining, definitely worthy to be called a sister to Rival’s iSlots, and provided enough of a challenge to keep me entertained, not to mention the bonus game payouts giving off a nice shine to my bankroll.
