Phone Tag Gossip Bonus Game

When you hit three or more gossip icons on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd reels, the Gossip Bonus Game is triggered. In this game, 12 distinct characters are trying to make a call on their phones, no doubt to spread the latest gossip around town.

The player selects from among these 12 people. When selected, a money icon appears to let you know how much the chosen person is worth in bonus credits. The game continues in this way until the original gossip monger chosen is selected a second time. One that happens, your money is added up and the gossip bonus game is over.

If you hit any multipliers during the bonus game, all money accumulated during this phase is multiplied by that factor.

The Call Around The World Bonus Game

Also look out for the "Call Around the World" icons. When three or more of these symbols appear at any point on the reels, it triggers the Call Around the World Bonus Game.

Depending on the number of icons which landed on the screen, you have three to five bonus symbols placed on a large bonus stationary reel.

There are three different kinds of symbols on these reels: money, busy and no answer icons.

When you hit the money symbol, you win the bonus coins at that value. When you hit the busy symbol, you re-spin with no loss or gain. And when you hit the "no answer" symbol, that particular Call Around the World symbol is replaced with a no answer icon. You continue to play the bonus game until all of your Call Around The World symbols have changed over to "No Answer".

I'm not sure why the "busy" symbol exists, except I guess the designers at IGT couldn't think of another decent symbol. Busy symbols act as re-spins, though you don't win any money to make it worth your time. This is a minor gripe, because it doesn't happen that often and therefore it takes little of your slots-playing time.

The Wild Duck Symbol

Strangely, the wild duck symbol is the best one to hit on Phone Tag slots. I'm not sure why a wild duck is the Phone Tag Slots jackpot icon, but who argues when you hit a jackpot.

If 5 wild duck icons hit on any payline you have activated, you win the grand jackpot. This jackpot is 300,000 coins for the maximum bet.
