The most unusual feature of the game is the “Light Speed Meter,” which is located on the sides of the reels. Whenever a light speed symbol comes up, you’ll notice that the light meter moves up. When this happens, it will function as a multiplier on your next winning spin. Keep in mind, however, that the largest multiplier which you can attain is 7.
To qualify for the Light Speed Meter, you must make the maximum bet of 3 coins (or $0.75). Also keep in mind that once the player has reached a multiplier of 7 and attained a winning spin, the machine will reset back to zero.
The machine only accepts quarters, so its progressive jackpot is not always as big as some other, more expensive, machines. When the jackpot is hit, the machine resets and begins again with a $700 payoff for the top prize. The current progressive total can always be found just above the reels.
To have a chance to win the progressive jackpot, you must first get the 7 multiplier on the Light Speed Meter (which requires the max bet of 3 coins). Then, you must spin and hit 3 laser guns. Do this, and the progressive jackpot is yours!
Also, be sure to keep an eye out for the symbol of a robot. This
symbol is wild and will match any non-Light Speed symbol. As you might
imagine, this symbol can come in very handy during play.
While some players have complained that they do not win as often on the
Light Speed machines, they also note that the eventual payouts are
usually larger. If that is indeed true, then you should definitely give
this spaced-out game a try.
