Online casinos that make up the Hambledon New Venture Group are hosting an online slots tournament to benefit victims of the tsunami in Japan.
Although it was not widely advertised, US players can participate in the tournament, which will continue to run until 10 pm tonight.
Go Casino and Online Vegas are two of the sister online casinos in the Hambledon New Venture Group, and are participating in the tournament. Players who are interested can still register to play at either one of those online casinos.
Entry into the Tsunami Relief Pot Percentage Charity Tournament is $1 and gives players $125 in tournament money to play with. Somewhat fitting to the theme of helping to save lives, Hambledon New Venture chose to play the tournament out on the Dr. Love online slots game from the Vegas Technology lineup.
While this is not the only Japan relief online slots tournament being held in the online gambling community, it is the one that US players can participate in, which is a nice considering that there are US military personnel and their families overseas in Japan; such family members and friends would also benefit from the aid since they live in Japan.
The only downside to this particular charity online slots tournament is that it was not widely announced and advertised. It was also selected to run for an odd duration, a Wednesday through Friday tournament.
Had this charity slots tournament been scheduled for a weekend or more widely advertised it might have more than the 1,375 participants that it currently has.
However, every bit helps and there is still time to spin the reels to benefit Japan. Players can head over to Go Casino or Online Vegas to register and help out Japan.
