To try something a little different today I decided to take a look at what Real Time Gaming had to offer. So I clicked my way over to Club USA, who by the way does accept players from the United States, to give the Real Time platform a try.

For my Real Time Gaming experience I took Goldbeard for a spin. This is a five reel online slots game with twenty paylines. Naturally, in case you did not get the reference, this online slots game has a rather cartoony pirate them, the star of which is the infamous pirate Goldbeard.

To go along with this rather odd looking pirate are his Ship, his Parrot, his Cannon, and his Treasure Chest. There are also the traditional 9, 10, J, Q, K and A, but they have been dressed up a little bit with some old fashioned design.

Goldbeard himself is the Wild, substituting for all symbols except for the Gold Coin. He can only be spotted on reels 1 and 5. And spotted is the word. This pirate is very good at hiding from the slots player.

And this is a shame as he must be landed on both reels 1 and 5 at the same time in order to trigger the free spins. How many free spins? The slots player would only win 2, 3 or 4 free spins with a 3x multiplier. Yes, that is it.

However if on one of these lucky 2 to 4 free spins, if you land Goldbeard on reels 1 and 5 again you will win more free spins.

The tricky part here is landing him the first time to trigger the free spins, and this seems to be a bit on the tricky side, even with more than one of Goldbeard on each reel. And you only are given 2 to 4 free spins after all the spins it took to trigger, and there is no guarantee that you could win any further free spins from the original free spins.

There is a Scatter, which is the Gold Coin. But it is one of those Scatters that I am not fond of: the kind that only pays the cost of one spin as its minimum.

Overall I have to say I was not impressed with this offering from Real Time Gaming, and I would limit my playing to playing for fun. I can only hope that some of the other online slots games offered by Real Time have a bit more to them.
