I have to say that Rushmore runs their online slots tournaments a little bit differently than other online casinos. For one thing they do not list their online slots tournaments more than one day in advance. This means that a slots player needs to check in constantly for any online slots tournaments they might want to play at Rushmore.
Right now the furthest into the future Rushmore has online slots tournament listed is for tomorrow. Otherwise everything in their tournament lobby is for today. Hope you read this in plenty of time.
For the most part Rushmore runs only three types of online slots tournaments: Loose Caboose, Crystal Waters and Texan Tycoon. They have a rolling run each day, and each have its own level of prize pool based on the registration.
Loose Caboose would be the baby of these online slots tournaments. Players register for $1.10. The fee is broken down into two parts: $1 into the prize pool and $0.10 to Rushmore.
Crystal Waters ups that bar by requiring an entry fee of $5.50, with $5 going into the prize pool and $0.50 going to Rushmore.
Finally there is Texan Tycoon. This online slots tournament costs $11 to play in. The prize pool receives $10 and Rushmore gets the remaining $1.
All of Rushmore’s tournaments work the same way. Each tournament will be available to those who registered for 4 hours. Each player that has registered must log in during that 4 hour window. Once logged in the player has 10 minutes to play with their allotted 10,000 tournament credits.
At the end of the 4 hours, whichever play did the best in his or her 10 minutes is declared the winner and receives the largest chunk of the prize pool.
And each one of these rolling online slots tournaments at Rushmore is played out on the Real Time Gaming slots game whose name is featured in the tournament title.
A few months ago Rushmore partnered with a new company to run their new online slots tournaments. While I am glad that Rushmore is now offering online slots tournaments, I think that their format could use a little tweeting in that tournaments need to be announced more than a day out. Baby steps, baby steps my friends.
