WagerWorks Halloween Online Slots

October 29th, 2010

Just in time for Halloween, WagerWorks has released another new online slots game. Actually they have released two new online slots games, but only one is fit for Halloween.

The new Halloween online slots game is called The Curse of Frankenstein and is based on the Hammer Horror movie—which apparently is a classic, not that I can say because I have never seen it—of the same name.

This new slots game features five reels and only ten paylines, which is nice if you are trying to keep an eye on your wagering or are looking more to enjoy a slots game rather than spin your bankroll away.

The Hammer Films symbol is the bonus symbol and the trigger for the free spins. Unlike the majority of free spins out there, the ones in The Curse of Frankenstein can be retriggered during a free spin—a nice little way to extend the free spins action.

The other new online slots game from WagerWorks is called Pharaoh’s Fortune, and it is another five reel online slots game also with ten paylines. So, again, another online slots game for the economical slots player—only this one features ancient Egypt with an Indiana Jones style lettering instead of body parts.

Also like The Curse of Frankenstein, Pharaoh’s Fortune features free spins. This time the bonus symbol has to land on the first three reels on an active payline. Players then choose from a series of tiles to uncover their free spins and multipliers. But once you uncover the ‘Begin Free Spins’ tile the spins will start and you begin to reap the rewards of your free spins.

Playtech Releases New Slots Game

October 26th, 2010

Better late than never.

I know it is the end of the month and most other developers of online casino games have already released their new online slots games for the month of October. But despite being the end of the month that is not stopping Playtech from releasing their newest slots game: Frankie Dettori’s Magic Sevens.

Frankie Dettori’s Magic Sevens is a five reel slots game with twenty five paylines. Its theme is centered on the astounding feat of Frankie Dettori, who won all seven horse races in a single day at the Ascot races thirteen years ago.

That was a big day in horse racing history. And Playtech has decided to commemorate it by creating a new online slots game themed from it.

Aside from the usually exceptional graphics, Playtech has made sure to include a free spins feature and a bonus game.

The free spins feature is triggered when three or more of the Frankie Dettori’s Magic Sevens Logo are landed anywhere on the reels. Before the free spins can begin the number of free spins must be determined.

Players are temporarily taken to a second screen where they choose one of three horses. The horses then race around the track. If the player’s chosen horse comes in first, the player is awarded thirty five free spins; second place is worth fifteen free spins, and third will get ten free spins.

Either way, the player will receive free spins regardless of where his horse places. Once the number of free spins

As for the bonus round it is triggered when the Race Track appears on reels one and five at the same time. This bonus feature also requires a second screen, but at this one players will find a ‘pick and reveal a prize’ sort of bonus game. But to spice it up, Playtech included a video clip of Frankie Dettori as he won one of the Ascot races.

Playtech has done a good job in creating a commemorative theme for their new online slots game.

More Oktoberfest Slots

October 15th, 2010

Seems like everyone wants to get in on Oktoberfest. And who would not want to? Good food and drinks and music.

First Microgaming released their new online slots game Steinfest this month. Now Rival is releasing their own Oktoberfest themed online slots game.

They are more festive in their title, calling the new five reel, twenty payline online slots game Roll Out the Barrels.

Naturally it is full of Oktoberfest symbols: Sausages, Pretzels, Beer, Steins, German Hats and German Trousers, an Accordion and a Cuckoo Clock. And those are just the regular playing symbols, all of which carry the Rival hallmark of incredibly well-done graphics.

The Happy German Man, as I call him, is the jackpot symbol. Five of this happy celebrant is worth 2,500 coins.

Then there is the Horn Player. This traditionally clad gentleman with his very large horn will trigger free spins for landing him. Three are worth ten free spins, four will award twenty free spins, and five will give you an astounding seventy five free spins. All free spins have a 3x multiplier on them.

Do not forget your Keg. The Keg is the Expanding Wild. It only appears on reels one and two, but when it is landed, it will expand to fill the entire reel with beer and complete even more combinations.

And what would Oktoberfest be without Bar Maids. So naturally the Bar Maid is the bonus symbol. Landing three of her will trigger the bonus game.

The game begins on a second screen at the bar full of patrons and a few kegs of beer. It is your job to help serve patrons who exclaim that they want a beer. Choose a keg and receive your rewards.

Rival has done a fine job in creating an online slots game that showcases all the fun and revelry of Oktoberfest while giving it all the bonus features that slots players expect to find in Rival online slots games.

Monsters in Your Slots

October 8th, 2010

Well, not really. The name of the game is Monsters in the Closet and it is the newest Halloween online slots game. Finally! A new Halloween themed online slots game!

Monsters in the Closet comes from Microgaming. They have given this new five reel online slots games fifty paylines. That is a lot of monsters.

Microgaming’s artists have done an incredible job with their monster creations. They are somewhat odd but without being disgusting or overly scary. But the reels are full of these guys and the mayhem they wish to cause is evident. In total there are seven different kinds of monsters.

Unlike two of the other new Microgaming slots games this month, Monsters in the Closet does not have a Stacked Wild or an Expanding Wild. Instead the Logo is just a standard Wild that will substitute for any symbol other than the Scatter and Bonus symbols.

There is a monster with a bull ring in its nose. This Bull Monster, as I call him, is the Scatter. Only two of him are necessary to receive the minimum Scatter payout. But landing three or more of him will trigger the free spins feature.

The free spins feature is made up of twelve free spins each with a 3x multiplier on it. Free spins can be triggered during a free spin as well.

Then there is the Bonus symbol, the Skeleton Key. Landing three of those in this online slots game will trigger the Monster Closet bonus game. This second screen bonus game starts out with five doors that the player must choose from. Behind each door is either a bonus prize or one of two icons that could start a second bonus game.

One of the second bonus games is called Scary Slam in which players slam doors on the monsters. The more monsters you keep out of the light the bigger your bonus prize will be.

The other second bonus game is the Haunted Destination. Players go through the door to one of four places: Mummy’s Tomb, Vampire’s Castle, Werewolf’s Cabin or Yeti’s Cavern. Players choose hiding places to examine which will reveal bonus prizes.

Despite not following the recent Stacked or Expanding Wild trend, Monsters in the Closet is an enjoyable Halloween online slots game. And the bonus games definitely make up for it having a standard Wild. Not bad for another new Microgaming slots game.

Slots Version of Oktoberfest

October 6th, 2010

A good many people look forward to the time of year that brings Oktoberfest. Well, that time of year has come.

To celebrate, Microgaming has created a new online slots game to celebrate Oktoberfest. They are calling the new five reel, nine payline slots game Steinfest. Guess what this game’s symbols are.

Yes, there are plenty of hardy foods, such as Pretzels, Sausages and other meats. There must be music to go along with drinking festivities so Steinfest also comes with three symbols depicting musicians.

And who could forget beer girls. Yes, Steinfest has beer girls—two of them, a Blonde and a Brunette. Each girl has her own payouts but they can also be landed together to make up winning combinations, increasing payout opportunities.

Then there are the special symbols: the Wild, the Scatter and the Bonus.

True to the trend, the Steinfest Logo is a Stacked Wild, which, again, increases the payout opportunities. The only symbols the Logo does not substitute for in this online slots game are the Scatter and the Bonus symbols.

The Tavern Sign is the Scatter. But more importantly landing three or more Tavern Signs will trigger ten free spins, each with a 2x multiplier. Also during free spins the Stacked Wild will be double stacked, again increasing opportunities for payouts.

The Bonus symbol of Steinfest is, naturally, the Stein. Landing three or more Steins will trigger the Beer Chug bonus game on a second screen.

Here players will have three, four or five beer drinking patrons to choose from the twelve assembled. The number choices given depends on the number Scatters that triggered the bonus game—three Steins equals three patron choices while five Scatters equal five patron choices.

Each patron has a prize to give once he chugs his beer. Some patrons will award an extra pick as well.

I have to say that I am quite pleased with this new online slots game. While Halloween slots in October are always fun, no one can forget Oktoberfest. Bravo to Microgaming on their latest online slots game and tribute to Oktoberfest.

Paradise in a Slots Game

September 28th, 2010

Find your own little piece of paradise in another new online slots game from Vegas Technology.

This new five reel, twenty five payline online slots game is called Paradise Riches and features an exotic summery beach theme. This comes across in the Dolphins, Coconuts, Island Drinks and other tropically oriented symbols.

While it does not carry all of the bonus features that Vegas Technology’s other new online slots game, Agent Cash, does Paradise Riches does not come to players empty handed.

There is only one Wild in Paradise Riches, but it is a Wild that pays. When substituting for any symbol other than the Scatter, there is a 3x multiplier on any winning combination that the Hula Girl helps to complete.

On top of the 3x multiplier, the Hula Girl will also payout a 10,000 coin jackpot for landing five of her on the reels.

The Tropical Flower is the Scatter in Paradise Riches. Players need only land a minimum of two to be awarded a Scatter payout.

But three or more Tropical Flowers will trigger the free spins feature. Twelve free spins are awarded and each free spins has a multiplier of 3x on it. As another little bonus, players can retrigger the free spins as long as all twenty five paylines are active.

The cost of a spin on Paradise Riches starts at $0.25 ($0.01 per payline) and goes up as high as $125 ($5 per payline) per spin. This range makes this a good online slots game for a high roller or basic player or someone who is just looking for some relaxing slots play in paradise.

Vegas Technology has done a good job in creating a new online slots game to gives off a relaxing feeling while at the same time giving players a good game.

New Slots with a New Casino

September 27th, 2010

Last week the ThoughtLink Ltd launched a new online casino. This new online casino of theirs is powered by Rival Gaming, maker of the ever popular iSlots. The name of this new online casino? It is Spartan Slots Casino.

Despite the spare name of this new online casino, it is being launched with an out pouring of money. This includes a $5,000 Welcome Bonus Package made up of a 100% deposit match bonus worth up to $1,000, a second deposit match bonus of 2005 worth up to $400, and topping it off are four reload deposit match bonuses of 150% making up the remaining $3,600.

But the real push of this new online casino is the special four new online slots games that Rival Gaming made especially for the Spartan Slots Casino. These four new slots games are called: Diamonds Down Under, Best of Luck, Aussie Rules and, to go along with the new online casino’s name, Spartan Warrior.

And like the majority of online casinos in the industry, Spartan Slots is also offering progressive online slots games with progressive jackpots. No word yet on whether these new progressive jackpots are linked to any of Spartan’s sister casinos or not as most online casinos are prone to do.

ThoughtLink Ltd. is also the owner of other online casinos, such as Box 24. Their online casinos are like flip flops, easy to get into and fun to use. Between their welcome bonuses and their exclusive online slots games this new online casino will be a nice addition to the ThoughtLink Ltd. family.

New 50s Themed Online Slots Game

September 22nd, 2010

We have seen what other online casino game developers have dished out this month in the way of new online slots games, and now it is time to see what Rival has for its partner online casinos.

For slots players who are fans of the iconography of the 1950s the new online slots game from Rival, called Doo Wop Daddy-O, is sure to become a favorite. There are Pink Poodles, Records, Jukeboxes and Classic Cars. Oh, and lots of neon sign letters.

It is like the malt shop exploded and turned into an online slots game. The graphics are colorful and have captured what everyone likes to remember about the 50s. True to Rival Gaming’s style, the graphics are well-done and the animation smooth.

The Motorcycle is the Scatter offering an easy payout for landing as little as two of them.

Naturally there is a Wild in Doo Wop Daddy-O, the letters of Wild spelled out in pink neon sign letters. It will substitute for any symbol in the game except for the two bonus symbols.

Yes, I said two bonus symbols. Instead of free spins, Rival put two bonus games into this new online slots game, and they each represent to iconographic things from the 50s: the soda fountain and racing.

The Soda Fountain bonus game is triggered by landing three or more Milkshakes. Players are then taken to a second screen where they are behind the counter of a soda fountain. They task is to make a dessert for a girl whose name is probably Judy.

Various pieces that make up ice cream sundaes will glow. Players have to click on the glowing pieces to build the probably-Judy’s dessert. The more pieces that make up her dessert, the bigger the bonus prize.

The other bonus game is the Drag Race bonus game and it is triggered by landing three or more of the Red Classic Truck. I hope you can drive stick.

On a second screen players will see a steering wheel and a gear shift knob along with a plus and minus symbol. Players have to click plus to shift up and minus to downshift when the arrow points to a new gear. When the game says ‘Honk’ click the steering wheel to give an extra boost to the bonus prize. Crossing the line first also gives an extra bonus prize.

Having two bonus games rather than one is what stands out in this new online slots game. Not to mention all the 50s iconography. Two bonus games will help add to players’ bankroll, which will most likely make this a popular new offering in Rival powered online casinos.

Tally Ho! To the Slots!

September 22nd, 2010

Microgaming certainly keeps busy. Despite launching what is probably going to be one of their most popular online slots games, Lord of the Rings did not slow down their developers and there is another new online slots game launched this month too. Although with much less fanfare.

The new five reel Tally Ho online slots game has been launched.

Taking a break from the usual twenty or twenty five paylines, Tally Ho only offers nine paylines to play on. This is good because it cuts down the cost of a spin, but it also reduces the opportunities per spin to land a combination.

Naturally the name Tally Ho brings to mind the traditional English fox hunt. And, yes, you will be spinning the reels in hopes of finding a fox, but only because Lord Fox offers a payout of 750 coins while Lady Fox offers a 600 coin payout.

That is all the fox hunting you will be doing. The rest of the symbols are there to show off the rich lifestyle that these foxes now have since fox hunting is not nearly as common as it used to be. Such symbols include the Fox’s Mansion, Rolls Royce, Crest, and six symbols of rich, decadent food.

There are two symbols though that allude to the English fox hunt of old: the Horse and the Horn.

The Horse is the Wild. Rather than hurting the Foxes, the Horse helps as it will substitute for any symbol for the Foxes’ rich lifestyle, adding a 2x multiplier to any combination it completes. The only symbol it does not substitute for is the Horn.

The Horse also offers the two highest payouts: 6,000 coins for five Horses and 1,000 coins for four Horses.

As for that Horn, it is the Scatter and the trigger for free spins feature.

Three or more Horns and you will be awarded with ten free spins that carry a 4x multiplier on each spin. This brings the possibility of winning a maximum of 24,000 coins from one free spin.

The new online slots game Tally Ho offers players fun, hunting-free fun with the graphics and animation that Microgaming is known for. A nice release even if it has to share its release month with Lord of the Rings.

Agent Cash Slots Game

September 21st, 2010

What do you get when you cross a British spy with an online slots game?

You get Vegas Technology’s latest online slots game Agent Cash.

This five reel, thirty payline online slots game is one of two new online slots to join the Vegas Technology line up. It features a theme with a British spy working to save the world. Very Bond, yes?

Vegas Technology is beginning to step up their bonus features with this new online slots game. Agent Cash feature no one, but two Wilds and one of those Wilds is an Expanding Wild.

The Brunette is featured on reels one and five. Players who land her on both at the same time will see her symbol expand into Wilds that cover both reels. It is not just one Expanding Wild, it is two.

The standard Wild is that Aston Martin. This Wild will payout 1,250 coins if five are landed. The Aston Martin will substitute for all symbols except for the Villain and the Blonde.

And speaking of that Blonde, she is the Scatter that, when landed on reels one, three and five, will trigger the bonus game. Of the three Blondes, the player will choose one symbol which will then reveal either free spins, bonus coins or will trigger the beginning of the Pick or Die bonus game.

The Pick or Die bonus game shows the player thirty face down cards. All have bonus prizes and one is the stopper card. Your mission is to flip as many cards as possible to rack up your bonus prize before flipping over the stopper card, which ends the bonus game.

As for the Villain, he is the jackpot symbol. Landing five of him will award a 10,000 coin jackpot. But players only need three of him to be awarded the minimum, which is 100 coins.

With the double Expanding Wild and multiple possibilities for the bonus game, Vegas Technology is definitely starting to step up the features in their new online slots games. Agent Cash is hopefully a sign of the slots games to come from Vegas Technology.
